6. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Basically, IP addresses on our website are automatically anonymized by Google by shortening them. Only in exceptional cases are IP addresses transmitted to Google servers in the USA and made anonymous there by shortening them. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.
As an alternative to the browser add-on described above or within browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent future detection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
7. Use of Google Remarketing and DoubleClick
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. This makes it possible to present interest-based advertising to the website visitor within the Google advertising network. For this purpose, a so-called “cookie” is stored on the visitor’s computer. The string of characters it contains is used to recognize a visitor when they visit websites that are part of the Google advertising network. There, the visitor may be shown advertising that relates to content that was previously accessed on websites that use Google Remarketing.
For this purpose among other things, Google uses the so-called “DoubleClick” cookie. This is the same cookie that is used on websites that run advertising programs from the Google subsidiary DoubleClick. No third-party advertising is placed on our website. The DoubleClick cookie is only used for the remarketing function.
According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data with the remarketing function. If you still do not want Google to use the “interest-based advertising” function, you can generally deactivate it in the settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can also configure your browser so that it accepts no cookies or only certain cookies. Please note that this may limit the functionality and comfort of websites. You can also deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative. To do this, follow the instructions at: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
8. Analysis by WiredMinds
Products and services from WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de) are used on this website for marketing purposes and to optimize our offers. Data is collected, processed and stored from which user profiles are created under a pseudonym. Where possible and useful the usage profiles are completely anonymized. For this cookies can come into use. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s Internet browser and are used to recognize the Internet browser. The data collected, which may also include personal data, is transmitted to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information left by visits to the websites to create anonymous usage profiles. The data obtained in this way will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website without the separate consent of the person concerned and will not be combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. Insofar as IP addresses are collected, they are made anonymous immediately after collection by deleting the last block of numbers. The collection, processing and storage of data can be objected to at any time with future effect.
